Melody · Contemporary Art Exhibition

In 2025, Albanian artist Ledia Çeta participated in the international contemporary art exhibition Melody, held in China from 28 June to 17 August 2025. The exhibition brought together contemporary artistic perspectives from different cultural backgrounds, exploring the rhythms, emotions and connections that shape the relationship between people and the natural world.

Ledia Çeta was represented through 16 distinctive landscape paintings, reflecting her enduring fascination with water, light and the Mediterranean environment. Inspired by the Albanian coastline (including the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea), the exhibited work captures the changing character of the sea through subtle layers of blue and green, creating a sense of depth, movement and tranquillity.

Her participation in Melody introduced her work to an international audience and contributed to a wider intercultural dialogue through contemporary art, bringing the colours and atmosphere of Albania's natural landscape into an international exhibition setting.
